Costs
Users pay a monthly fee to Avon Health to access the Avon EMR based on the number of provider seats or number of patients. Users electing to use the features included under the Avon Cures Update version certification may also incur additional monthly fees.
Multi-Factor Authentication
MFA is required for all users accessing the system. The authentication process combines:
  • Something the user knows: Email and password
  • Something the user has: A one-time code sent via SMS to the user’s registered phone number
Standards Version Advancement Process (SVAP) Notice
Under the SVAP, the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) for Health IT allows vendors to voluntarily update certified health IT products to use more advanced versions of standards than those adopted in ONC Certification Criteria. For its certified View, Download and Transmit functionality, Avon Health remains compliant with the WCAG versions supported by World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), in conjunction with the following SVAP-approved standards:
